Russell lupine is the most commonly known and widely cultivated lupine. Plants grow up to 40 inches tall and produce very striking, upright spikes of pea-like flowers. Vividly colored flowers come in shades of blue, pink, red, yellow, and white in both solids and bi-colors. Flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
