Sweet Pea

Add a sweet fragrance and a soft touch to spring bouquets by growing sweet peas. Sweet peas are grown for their color and their delightful fragrance. They usually come in pastel shades of pink, purple, blue, and white. Sweet peas come in both bush and climbing types. Both types are vines, but the bush types do not grow as tall and do not need to be trellised. We offer a dwarf sweet pea, Bijou Mix, which is perfect for borders and containers. If you want flowering vines up to 7 feet with delicate flowers, we suggest growing Streamer Mix or Royal Lavender. Sweet peas prefer long, cool summers.
