Summary

The jalapeno is one of the most widely used peppers. A variety of jalapeno is the Early Jalapeno. As the name suggests, it is called Early Jalapeno because it ripens up to two weeks earlier than other varieties of jalapeno. Compared to other types of jalapenos, Early Jalapeno grows favorably in cool conditions. These peppers are easily recognizable by their cone shape and dark green thick walls. Peppers grow between 3 to 4 inches long and are harvested when dark green. Perfect for eating fresh, spicing up Mexican dishes, or pickling.
