Summary

Spaghetti is a winter squash. Golden-yellow, oblong fruits are medium-sized, weighing between 3 to 7 pounds. Inside the fruit is sweet yellow flesh. When cooked, the flesh separates into long noodles resembling spaghetti, hence the name. Spaghetti squash can be baked, boiled, steamed, and can be used in place of regular pasta. Very healthy and delicious.
