Charleston Grey is a classic heirloom watermelon that was introduced in 1954. Watermelons are light greenish-grey and cylindrical-shaped. These large watermelons grow between 20 to 40 pounds. The flesh is red, firm, sweet, and fiber-less. The thick rind can be used for watermelon rind pickles. Resistant to fusarium wilt and anthracnose.
