Summary / History

Premier kale is also known as Early Hanover. Premier will produce an abundant yield of deep green foliage with smooth and scalloped leaves that are up to a foot long. Leaves are very flavorful and can be used fresh in salads or on sandwiches. They can also be cooked or roasted with a splash of olive oil and salt. Premier is a slow bolting kale, which means that it does not bolt to seed as fast as other varieties. It resists bolting 3 to 4 weeks longer than other kales.
