Sorrel Seeds

Nutritious and delicious, Sorrel is a gourmet herb every garden and kitchen deserves! The large, arrow-shaped leaves have a tangy, even slightly sour flavor. The leaves can be picked individually and then pureed in soups and sauces. Add leaves to salads or sandwiches for a little zest and tang. Sorrel’s sharp taste is due to oxalic acid, so it should be consumed in moderation. In addition to regular green Sorrel, we offer Red Veined. Red Veined is considered a flashy sorrel because of its dark red stems and veins. Sorrel is easy to grow and can be grown in containers. Plants will keep producing new leaves all season long.
