Lavender Seeds

Lavender is best known for its refreshing, clean fragrance. Not only does it offer a pleasing scent to us, it also repels insects. Lavender makes a beautifully aromatic hedge with its gray-green foliage topped with lavender-colored bloom spikes. Use the fresh leaves and flowers to make a soothing tea. Lavender also lends a floral and slightly sweet flavor to cakes and sweets. When dried, lavender can be added to potpourris and perfumes. If you are looking for lavender rich in essential oils, we recommend growing Munstead. Lavender does best in dry, well-drained, gravelly or sandy soils in full sun.
